About Us
Carlisle One World Centre (COWC) is a local charity based in Carlisle city centre above Carlisle World Shop. Carlisle One World Centre began as a Churches Together in Carlisle initiative and we remain respectful of this heritage while welcoming members and support from all communities and faiths.
Through our activities we aim to:
- Raise awareness of how our actions as individuals, as communities and as a nation affect the wider world
- Support the economically and socially deprived, both locally and globally
- Campaign for justice throughout the world

COWC Policies
Room Hire
COWC has a counselling or small meeting room with a desk and WiFi, available for hire at affordable rates. Carlisle One World Centre is an upstairs, discreet city centre venue. Refreshments are also available.

Resources
There are many books and magazines available to borrow from COWC and Sustainable Carlisle's One World library.
We also have a giant 3 x 3m Fairtrade Snakes and Ladders game which has been played and enjoyed by people of all ages all over Cumbria.
